The holidays always brings us discounts, gift sets, and questions of “do I need this?”
I have had a few girls ask me what beauty products they should buy with their holiday coupon codes, gift cards, and black Friday sales.
So here’s my list on things to splurge on:
Urban Decay “Naked” Palettes
Urban Decay has an amazing formula when it comes to their eyeshadows. Super soft, and they blend so well. I own both the Naked and Naked 2 palettes, so it’s a no brainer for me to recommend them. There is even the Naked 3 palette coming out in December, so save that Christmas money!
Lorac Pro Palette
The Pro Palette is definitely my #1 go to palette for both everyday use and for clients! There are 16 eyeshadow squares total. The shadows themselves are soft and have a “buttery” texture which is to die for! The colors are neutral and any skin color can use them. A must for my kit!
Kat Von D Everlasting Love Liquid Lipstick
This lipstick is at the top of my list next to the Lime Crime Velveteen’s. The color starts off as a gloss and dries to a matte lipstick! The color sticks so well that I’ll be wearing it all day without having to reapply it. The color is also so pigmented that it leaves a stain to my lips.
Makeup Forever Flash Palette
This is a must have in my makeup kit as it serves so many purposes. The kit is made up of 12 cream colors that can be used as bases, mixed in with other cream/liquid products, or used alone. I use it for cream blush, for contour, for eyeshadows, even on lips! It is hard to find as it’s always sold out, so keep an eye out for it!!!
Urban Decay Revolution Lipsticks
The new UD lipsticks are one of my favorites mainly because they mimic and dupe so many Mac colors, but are much more creamy and are way better as far as quality goes! I recommended getting “69” and “Anarchy” as your first two purchases (assuming you have yet to try them.) Once you try them on it’s so hard to say no!
Lorac Pro To Go
My favorite on the go brick. I say brick, because the way it folds it makes it look like a little black brick, haha. It comes with a large mirror, an eyeshadow brush, a small angled brush, 4 eyeshadows, 2 highlight powders, 2 blushes and a bronzer. Same buttery consistentcy of the Pro Palette, just a but heavy (weight wise.) Definitely worth getting.
NARS Guy Bourdin “One Night Stand” Palette
I say this blush palette is worth your money, but may be a look over if you have a small NARS blush collection already. The palette has 3 preexisting blush shades (such as Orgasm, Deep Throat, and Laguna) but also comes with 3 limited edition shades as well. NARS never disappoints with color pay off, so it definitely doesn’t “wipe off” when applied to the skin. It’s great for MUAs on the go, or for someone who’s attempting to use these blushes for the first time. I say, whatever the case, buy it, and worse case scenario return it if you hate it (which I highly doubt you will!)
Sephora is having their VIB appreciation week 11/7-11/11. If you’re a VIB, use code “VIBTOPIA” for 20% off your order!!
