NYX Baked Blush (Review)

I was lucky enough to get to go to this year’s BeautyCon thanks to an old friend from Middle School.

During our venture, we visited booths such as Tarte, NYX and Bellami only to name a few. I was overwhelmed When we got to NYX!

They handed us a goodie bag filled with sooooo many make-up pieces (which most have made their way into my kit,) but one of the products that I immediately wanted to play with was, of course, the baked blush.

The blushes at first look are super shimmery, and when swatched on your finger tips come out to be extremely pigmented. I received a total of five baked blushes, which are as follows:

I can’t comment yet on the staying power of the blushes, as to I just got them today, but I absolutely love the color payoff on passion and pink fetish! All the colors, in my opinion, are perfect for summer and can carry their way into a fall look.

At first glance, Spanish Rose looks like it would be more pigmented than Lady Like, but when swatched on my wrist, actually becomes lighter, almost transparent. Passion and Wanderlust are quite similar, but Passion is much more orange than golden.

(The swatches on my wrist are in the same order as the labeled compacts above.)

If I had to give the product a final number review, I’d say 8.5 stars out of 10.

Mainly because some of the shades are a bit chalky, and I had to layer a few times to get any color onto my cheeks, which was disappointing since swatches on my finger tips were outstanding.

Own any of the baked blushes? Tell me what you think!
